By this premise, SGP Grup took the initiative to carry on with this project of transverse nature, which coordinates different work fields such as environment, labour, social, economic, preventive or ethical.
CSR improves the competitive and valorative situation of the company increasing its added value.
The main objectives of the initiative towards society are:
To provide the society of useful products under fair conditions.
To generate wealth through the most possible efficient way.
To respect the Human rights looking for good working conditions that favours employees work safety and health and human and professional development.
To look for the company continuity and to achieve a reasonable increase if possible.
To respect the environment by avoiding any way and kind of pollution when possible and by minimizing wastes and rationalizing the use of natural and energy resources.
To accomplish the law, regulations, rules and routines by respectig the legal coctracts and the solid commitments.
To intend the equitable distribution of the generated wealth.
To defend our culture, language and identity.
Since 2009 SGP Grup annually presents a report of results named Sustainability Report, which is public. This document is an annual balance sheet that reflects the improvement the company gains in each of the prevously mentioned fields.
Moreover, the company has signed the United Nations Global Compact and it is therefore committed to the 10 priciples of sutained management and responsibility.
