Morphological anomalies
Among all the analyzed semen ejaculated, it has been carried out an analysis of morphological anomalies using a vital staining (eosin-nigrosine). In this analysis it has been performed a recount of 200 spermatozoids. If we compare the medium values of morphological anomalies regarding the genetics of the stud (NN, NP, PT), we can see that there are no significant differences. (Figure 9).
The numbers that appear in axe X, match the following values:
1. FAT (Total Anormal Shapes)
2. ACR (Acrosomia)
3. MORT (Mortality)
4. CAP (Head anomalies)
5. PI (Anomalies in the intermediate parts)
6. CUA (Tail anomalies)
7. GCP (Proximal Cytoplasmatic Drops)
8. GCD (Distal Cytoplasmatic Drops)
In figure number 10 we can see the absolute values of total motility of the different semen ejaculated, regarding the percentage of total anomalies that presented the different semen ejaculated.
